A Month of Italian Sundays
In the grand fashion of traditional Italian Sunday night dinners, Panzano is very happy to offer a special 3 course tasting menu for $35 each Sunday evening with optional wine pairings accompanying each course for $15. Each month the menu and wines will reflect a different region of the Italian culinary and oenological landscape. For June it will be Le March.Nestled onto the Adriatic coast, Le Marche (pronounced Mar-kay) is one of Italy’s hidden gems. With wild coasts and cliffs that lead directly into the Adriatic, an underrated culinary scene and a couple of unique wines found only there, Le Marche can be a comfortable destination that lies off of the beaten path. Traditionally, Le Marche has been known mostly for farming and as a home for of the best traditional craft trades in Italy. The best known white wines of Le Marche are made from a grape called Verdicchio (found nowhere else in Italy), while the most famous red wines hail from Rosso Conero, many of which are derived from the grape Montepulciano.
